1. Question Fermées (Kapalı Sorular) : Bütün evet, hayır ile cevapladığımız sorular kapalı sorulardır.
   • est-ce que
2. Questions Ouvertes (Açık Sorular) : Cevabımız evet veya hayır değil bir cümle/açıklama oluyor.
   • où – where
   • quand – when
   • qui – who
   • pourquoi – why
   • comment – how
   • combien – how much/how many
   • quoi – what

Questions Fermées

1. Courant: Est-ce que tu aimes les chiens? – Köpekleri seviyor musun?
   • Est-ce que + sujet + verbe
2. Formel: Aimes-tu les chiens?
   • Verbe + sujet
   • Aime-il -> Aime-t-il (araya bir t eklenir)
3. Familier: Tu aimes les chiens?
   • Vurgunun son kelimeye gelmesiyle soru yapılır

2. Formel: Où habites-tu?

pourquoi

Her zaman en başta gelir:
